KINCHAKU is a pouch. "Kin" means "cloth". "Chaku" means "wear". Old Japanese people called it "Kinchaku", because they carry it all the time like your own clothings.
They used to put money, medicines or personal items inside of the pouch. Kinchaku started dying out around 100 years ago since western clothes were getting more popular in that era. Nowadays, Japanese females use it when they wear yukata (a casual summer kimono).
